This website’s interactive webpages require an up-to-date web browser, with JavaScript enabled. We currently recommend FIREFOX for the most trouble-free viewing of the site (note that for MS Internet Explorer in Windows, ActiveX controls must also be enabled).
You must also have QuickTime movie player installed on your PC. Free versions of the player (for both PC and MAC computers) can be obtained from Apple by clicking HERE.
Even following the above steps, we know that web browsers are constantly changing. Thus, while we thoroughly test these webpages, what works today may not work tomorrow (especially for multimedia webpages such as ours). So, if you have additional problems (or any suggestions on improving the website) PLEASE CONTACT US.
Our website can deliver movies to your PC by two methods:
DOWNLOADING: Chunks of the movie are downloaded to your PC before they are played. This download is indicated by the progress bar displayed below the movie. You then choose when to start playing the movie (generally when all or most of the movie has been received). The advantages of this mode are that it will work for virtually any speed of Internet connection - you just have to be much more patient with slower connections! Also, very high quality movies can be transmitted. This is our website’s default movie transmission mode. You can switch to this mode by clicking: DOWNLOAD.
STREAMING: Movie picture frames are sent and immediately displayed one by one. You don’t have to start the playback and you do not need to have temporary storage space on your PC. However, if your Internet connection cannot keep up with the stream, movie frames will be lost (and the movie will appear to skip). Also, to accommodate streaming, we have slightly reduced the quality of the movies transmitted. You can switch to this mode by clicking: STREAM.
For you, this website is currently using the STREAMING mode.
